Dear 4th grade students of Rufino Blanco:
ResponderEliminarI live in San Francisco, USA, and I love your blog!
When we went to Salamanca, my kid, who is a fifth grader student here in San Francisco, liked very much the statue of Lazarillo and the blind man located by the Roman Bridge. We read "El Lazarillo contado a los niños" by Rosa Navarro and he loved it. The drawings are very nice too! My son found so cool that he was able to touch el verraco, where the blind man smashed Lazarillo's head... Can you imagine how much that had to hurt? That was a nasty old man... Wonder why he acted like that to poor Lazarillo. And what about the verraco? Think about how long that headless bull has been there!
You guys are very lucky to live where you live and being able to see and touch all that history that has been written about in all those great stories...
We will keep on checking your blog!
Keep up the good work,
All the best!
I like that you like our blog has much style who has published our teacher Rosa.Y we're glad you like our city and our culture, speaking of Lazarillo de Tormes seven thousand masters are lousy but good things have taught him.
